My Next Adventure

Dear Family, Friends, and Random Readers,

Today, Tuesday, April 18, my group and I will be leaving on our next big adventure – a three-week tour of other parts of India. The adventure begins with a 48-hour train ride to Delhi, where we are scheduled to arrive on the evening of April 20. Thinking of spending all those hours on a train makes two days from now seem really far away. We did, however, splurge on the A/C car, so, rather than being hot and uncomfortable for two days, we will merely be uncomfortable.

But who can complain about the train when it is the means to such an awesome end? Although we don’t have many firm, solid plans, we are sure to see the great Taj Mahal, the “Pink City” of Jaipur, and the Himalayas. The time there will go quickly, and soon enough, we will head back down South, stopping on our way to Kerala in Bombay and, finally, Goa, also known as “Resort Central”.

By May 9, we will have returned to Kerala to forge ahead into our last three months of life in India. And it is at that time that you can begin to look for newly posted blogs. While we are away, I do not foresee having the time (or the energy) to keep the blog site updated. I will be in touch upon my return, though, and I plan to write a very enthralling May newsletter that will detail all of my amazing adventures in other parts of India.
